The month of October has come into „Balta maja” with a lively inspiration, ideas and new friends and activists of the association. The creative and enthusiastic ladies and gentlemen of the interest clubs “Gundegas” and “Rudens rozes” as well as “Celotaju klubs” and the hardworking hadicraft club “Atrodi prieku sevi” were particularly active participants who have started the autumn with great works.

During October on Mondays handicraft enthusiasts met in the association’s premises to make different shaped reflectors that are so useful in the dark period of time in the autumn. As a result, 70 reflectors in different colours and designs were given to the seniors in the celebration as a special present from the association. These reflectors were given to the elder people who live in Livani, Rozupe and Turki.

On 13th October Anna Kārkle, who is the head of the folklore group „Ceiruleits”, fascinated everyone. Anna shared her musical collective experiences and stories that they experienced in Indonesia. The event was attended by a large number of travellers, who have fallen in love with the riches and beauty of foreign countries as well as those who actively follow near and distant travels of “Ceiruleits”.

Especially bright was Aina Gaile, who fascinated everyone with her stories, music, photo and adventures that she had brought from her summer trip in Croatia. These stories of experience enrich both the travellers themselves, who share their enthusiasm, joy and impressions, as well as everyone who listens, imagines and enjoys travelling stories.

On 22nd October the unconventional medicine club, “Atrodi prieku sevi” which is led by Viktorija Mihailova, was well-attended. This time the discussion was closely related to the maintenance of health in the autumn and homeopathy, which created great interest and resonance in the audience..
